It's a Dell i7 with an AMD Radeon R7 M260 at 2.60GHz. I'm facing issues while playing games, especially FIFA 17. Even after installing a driver to improve performance, the problem continues. The game runs slow and experiences lag, which gets worse over time. Would overclocking be a solution? If so, how should I proceed?

The R7 M260 meets the basic needs for FIFA 17 but falls short of the necessary specifications. For improved performance, consider upgrading the graphics card, provided it is feasible, or alternatively, purchase a new laptop.

you can use laptops, but they aren't built for overclocking. the i7 you possess isn't an i7-xxxxK model.

laptops lack an adequate cooling system, causing the CPU and GPU to overheat. This leads to game performance issues and makes it impossible to overclock the CPU, as they are locked by the manufacturer.

You can try various adjustments to improve performance, such as optimizing settings or upgrading components. Since similar setups work well, experimenting with different configurations might help.
