How to increase RAM speed while using XMP?
Press F2 upon startup to open your motherboard BIOS, navigate to the second tab: OC Tweaker, scroll down to memory configuration. There you'll find numerous options, including a load XMP profile button—select your preferred profile or frequency, save changes, and exit. I recommend installing the most recent BIOS version for optimal hardware support (latest available at https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20P...x.asp#BIOS).
Press F2 at startup to reach your motherboard BIOS, navigate to the second tab: OC Tweaker, scroll down to memory configuration. There you'll find numerous options, including a load XMP profile button—select your preferred profile or frequency, save and close. I always ensure the most recent BIOS is installed for optimal hardware support. I currently have the latest update, and using the recommended speed (3200) automatically sets it to 2134.
Consider adjusting the memory voltage manually or by small steps such as 0.10 or 0.05 V, and always save your settings before exiting the BIOS. Also, ensure CPU voltage and frequency settings are set to auto (enables CPU to adapt to memory overclock = XMP). Ram cannot run on XMP.
Consider adjusting memory voltage to auto or slightly higher values such as 0.10 or 0.05 V, and always save your settings before exiting the BIOS. Also ensure CPU voltage and frequency settings are set to auto (which allows the CPU to adapt to memory overclocking via XMP). Unfortunately, RAM isn't compatible with XMP settings. See the link for more details: None of these changes worked either. The system still runs at 2134 MHz. I don’t want to risk voiding warranties or damaging the system.
I understand what you're asking about. Did you adjust XMP while keeping CPU frequency and voltage on auto? The same applies to memory voltage on auto?
I didn't touch anything with the CPU. I just selected XMP according to my desired speed, and it works at 2400. But now I switched it to auto, and it's still running at 2134.
