i wish to increase the performance of my 750m gpu. i have no prior experience with overclocking.
my laptop is an acer v5 573g
i7-4500u has turbo boost up to 3.0 ghz
8 gb ram

Thermal solutions for laptops are not designed to cool overclocked components and it's not recommended that you try it. You will only gain a few fps at most and you may damage your system in the process. Since it's an ultra thin model cooling would be even more difficult.

Thermal designs for laptops aren't built to handle overclocked parts, so it's best not to attempt this. You might see only minor improvements and risk harming your device. With such a slim profile, cooling becomes even more challenging.
