You prefer structured activities with clear goals. Start by defining what you want to achieve. For mods, focus on performance and stability rather than graphics enhancements. Keep your PC setup simple to avoid issues. Remember to stay focused on your objectives and adjust as needed.

Explore community servers and gametypes by checking out the most popular ones. Try various game modes to understand what works, and experiment in sandbox servers to see how creation functions. In busy sandbox spaces you often find others who know how to build—copy their methods to learn. Roleplay servers can be challenging, so stick with friends for fun activities like prop hunting, TTT, and murder.

Have fun with friends or others—it gets dull when you're alone.

I usually just connect to servers and interact with others—mods are automatically installed when you join, so no extra effort needed. For my experience, I suggest starting with Prop Hunt, Murder Game & Deathrun. They’re enjoyable, but if you want sandboxing, research specific mods that interest you or join a lively server. However, playing in sandbox mode can become monotonous when done solo.

Join Prop Hunt, TTT and other games. I haven’t made anything in GMod yet, but I still enjoy it.

I'm familiar with Murder and Prop Hunt, I'll likely look for a server to join. Thanks for all the recommendations!

It's not really a game, but it's just a big collection of Lego-style mods for fun or experimenting with all the similar creations people have made.
