After reaching silver, I’ve started struggling a lot. The past eight matches were all losses, and the most recent one was against Silver 1 teams. I’m pretty sure I need to improve. Are there any advice for me to get better? It’s unclear if it’s my skill or my team.

Consider using fingertip grip if you don’t already. It requires effort, but the benefits are significant. Work on building a group of people you can rely on consistently.

It's never your team, as the odds even out after enough games. The only constant is you. Are you really interested in putting the work in at getting better? Yes there's lots of technical information and gamesense and teamwork and so on, but there is also just simple aiming, movement (the combination of the two is central to CS), and just the kind of things you have to practice. Counter-Strike is unlike any other FPS game, and if you really want to get good at it, the only FPS game you ever play should be CS:GO.

My usual playstyle is strong. Is it your skill in the game?

Are you truly focused on improvement? There are countless elements in Counter-Strike, but top fragging in Silver 2 doesn’t really matter. It might be your reckless pushes that either give you many kills (because you’re playing against other Silver 2s) or lead to a costly death and a round loss for your team. Fragging isn’t a priority in CS:GO.

Keep in mind that interacting with strangers feels very different from working with people you’re familiar with and can rely on, especially when it comes to how your collaboration functions. lol

-Game Sense -Mastering strategies, learning basics without rushing through A/B -FFA Deathmatches -Progress comes from ranking beyond just KDR, focusing on MVP roles -Play alongside friends I've never played solo before and won't be doing that -Edit: Also understand when to team up and buy together. Avoid overbuying out of frustration and don’t yell “how the fuck did he get me from there” when you die; let your team know where the enemies are

1. Noted you’re not motivated enough to improve
2. Enjoy the game until it loses interest
3. Playing without much concern
4. ????
5. Frustrated by step 4
6. Will delete it and never return
