Hello, your recent scan detected corrupted files and the cleanup tool encountered an issue finding the source. Could you share more details about the error message or any specific steps that led to it? This will help in finding a suitable solution.

Begin the process by accessing Advanced Startup. Navigate through the settings menu in Windows 8, 8.1, or 10 to reach Recovery options under Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced Startup. For Windows 7 users, press F8 after the BIOS loads but before the startup screen appears, then proceed through the options until you find "Advanced Options." On Windows 8 and 10, click through two menus labeled Advanced options and choose Command Prompt. Execute sfc /scannow /offwindir:C:\Windows /offbootdir:C:\ Replace C with the actual drive letter. If SFC encounters an issue, verify the directory path by typing "C:" in the command prompt and pressing Enter, then typing "dir" and confirming the presence of expected folders such as Program Files, Windows, and Users.
