Public areas usually offer free or paid WiFi to enhance user experience. However, if you prefer not to use that service but the location is heavily shielded—such as behind thick walls—making mobile internet unreliable, you might look for alternative ways to boost connectivity.

They produce cellular enhancers. You place an antenna outside a structure, connect a cable into the building, and then install a transmitter within. The problem lies in the strict regulation of cellular frequencies, which demand a license to operate—these companies invest huge sums on these bands. I’m not entirely certain about the legality of setting one up. You should review the regulations as well. Additionally, from what I observed, these devices aren’t inexpensive.

Is this the structure you have? If yes, open Wi-Fi at no cost (with a sign-up process) would be more affordable and compliant than using a "cell booster." (These are essentially unlicensed cell signal boosters.) For temporary visits, you're generally fine unless you're in a spot with limited access.

I would use a router to link as a client to the network and connect my phone to it
