How to eliminate the white stripe at the top of the taskbar?
There might be a white border or line above the taskbar, and you can try disabling or adjusting its visibility in your system settings.
You can use an app named "TranslucentTB" or change the taskbar transparency. After installation, right-click TranslucentTB in the system tray and go to Advanced > Edit Settings. This will display a JSON file where you can disable "show_line" to hide the white line only.
Hmm, something's missing here. Can you clarify what you're referring to?
Yes, of course!? Oh right... I see it on my laptop (with win 11) now... Everything has these borders, ... I noticed that with the glitchy round corners and every window, especially on Steam client before, but it's on the taskbar too! Yikes... Yet another reason to switch to 10 LTSC ASAP... But good to know there's a fix at least for the taskbar, i guess.
This seemed to belong to the Linux & Apple discussion, but it actually appears in the Windows area. I haven’t encountered any issues with a white thread at the top of the panel or task bar. The recommended solution is to switch to Linux.
