I was looking for a new AM4 motherboard and a Ryzen 5 2600 processor. You might be curious about my choice. My existing setup has a 1070 Ti and an i3-4150, which often causes noticeable delays. While browsing online, I found a TikTok video suggesting the 1070 Ti pairs well with either an i5-7500 or a Ryzen 5 1600x. This inspired me to check a benchmark video on YouTube, where I learned the Ryzen 5 2600 provided a modest performance boost compared to the 1600x, all at the same price point. I also tried some BIOS downgrade tutorials, but I’m still finding it hard to grasp the steps. The increased chance of corruption keeps me hesitant about trying it myself.

800rb for an old 2600x seems a bit naive, a tray 5500 would be a better choice at about 1.2-1.3jt and it should handle the 2600x well (acts like a 3600 if the system runs below 4400 on DDR4). What type of motherboard are you using? Which games do you enjoy? Please share photos of the internal components, along with pictures of the PSU and power rating chart. You might be able to use a 4670k around 300rb and push it up to around 4.8ghz. Regarding BIOS, you can usually update it via the built-in tool, or if not, remove the chip with two soldering irons and reprogram it using a ch341a.

Many BIOS systems allow you to reduce the version. Simply install the chosen BIOS file and adjust the settings accordingly.

I don’t really understand the basis for needing to lower the BIOS version.

The seller suggested reducing the BIOS version, warning it would cause issues if not updated.

His explanation centers on the idea of aligning actions with deeper principles rather than immediate outcomes.

Your current mobile device is a H81 OEM model—does it work well enough for playing Valorant and CS:GO?

If I were you, I’d check the latest updates on Colorful’s site to confirm the BIOS changes. Based on their information, it seems the 2600 should work with each BIOS version.
