How to divide Ethernet with two ports on your motherboard.
Hello, I recently acquired a PC for free from the trash. I found it had two Ethernet ports on its motherboard. The board model is GA-Z77X-UD5H and it features two Ethernet connections. One should connect to the internet normally, while the other doesn't seem to work. I only have one Ethernet cable for these two PCs, so I removed the internet connection from my main PC using an MSI Tomahawk z170AC Mobo. I connected the cable to the Dumpster PC and used another cable for the port that shouldn<|pad|> to block internet access. I then connected that into my main PC. In Windows 10 version 1909, I enabled the option to let other systems share internet from this PC. It functioned initially, but after a reset it stopped working unless I repeatedly toggled the setting four times on startup. I’m curious if there’s a way to automate this process so it happens every time the PC boots. Thanks ahead!
