How to deal with stuttering on build 4090?
Hello everyone, I've encountered several problems with stutters on my 3-month-old computer. I'm not sure what the exact issue is, but I've tried a few things and listed what I've tested.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7950x3D
- GPU: ASUS RTX 4090 24GB OC Version
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Crosshair x670E Hero
- RAM: G.Skill 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Trident (30-38-38-96)
- Power Supply: Seasonic Prime TX 1300W
- Hard drives:
1. M.2 1TB (Windows Disk)
2. M.2 2TB (Random junk atm)
3. HDD 8TB (Games and some programs)
I'm currently running the latest Windows 11, updated graphics drivers, chipset driver, and a bio update (version 1516). The game bar is also active. What's unusual is that stutters occur randomly, even though FPS remains stable.
I've done the following:
1. Reinstalled Windows 11.
2. Reset BIOS settings to default.
3. Switched GPU power cables to a CableMod.
4. Uninstalled GeForce Experience.
5. Tried limiting FPS to 300 or matching screen refresh rate.
6. Updated multiple graphics drivers over the past 1.5 months.
7. Disabled FTPM in BIOS.
8. Enabled performance mode in Windows.
9. Turned off CFG (Control Flow Guard) in Windows.
I think there are still more things I've overlooked.

I'm experiencing the same problem with the Ryzen 9 7950x3D 4090 Strix from ASUS x670E-F Rog Strix. It's causing microstuttering in all games.
