It won't function properly because Windows requires more than just the main installation folder—it also needs program, user, temporary, and other directories. You may need to copy the entire partition or perform a fresh installation using a bootable USB drive.

The whole partition must be cloned. You might attempt it, but it won’t succeed.

At the very least I’ll make sure everything is saved, even if the folder’s contents don’t include easy-to-find configuration files.

This setup isn't functioning because hidden partitions are present. You'll need to align partitions, bootloader, and other components, plus the necessary copies. Use Macrium Reflect to clone the partition.

Thats not what it is about. A windoes install is a complete package. You CANNOT take pieces and copy paste them over it wont work in ant way shape or form
