Hello everyone,
I’m planning to set up a PC for both DAW work and gaming, though running games is the main priority. For my DAW, I stick to Ableton and VSTs only.

The setup I had in mind includes:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-core (405 eu)
- CPU cooler: Thermaltake TH240 V2 ARGB Sync 57.05 CFM Liquid (107 eu)
- Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 (202 eu)
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 (222 eu)
- Storage: Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe SSD (140 eu)
- Graphics card: MSI Ventus XS OCV1 GeForce GTX 1650 G6 4 GB (144 eu)
- Case: Deepcool CC560 ATX Mid Tower (55 ey)
- Power supply: SHARKOON WPM Gold Zero 550 W (80+ Gold Certified, semi-modular, 70 eu)

I’m considering an undervolt approach with ClockTuner due to overheating issues in the AM5 socket. Also, I wanted to check if the graphics card could handle basic games without aiming for 4K quality.

The PSU needs to be replaced with a higher-quality model initially. The case could also be upgraded to something more energy-efficient. Ultimately, it depends on your budget and where you live.
