I have configured an OpenVPN between my UniFi router and another remote UniFi router. I can connect via the remote router but cannot reach any local servers at my host site. For instance, MYPC connects through UNIFIRouter to parentsRouter, then internet to hostUnifiRouter, and finally to TrueNas Box. I need to ensure computers on the offsite router can access the TrueNAS Box, so I'm unsure where I might be making a mistake in my setup.

What error messages or pop-ups, etc. are you getting when access attempts fail?
Take some screenshots of those errors, etc. and post the screenshots here via imgur (

> green "New post" icon).
More information needed.

A simpler approach is to install an overlay VPN such as Tailscale, Netbird, or ZeroTier on TrueNAS. There are many tutorials available on YouTube.

UniFI includes a native site-to-site VPN named "Site Magic," which I suggest you consider.

Are you required to pay thirty dollars each month to access site magic?

No. Site Magic between two UniFI routers is free. I don't use it, but there should be many tutorials available. I have a UniFI network but no second network to connect to. For instance --

It’s ready, but I must figure out how to reach local resources on the remote site—I’ll search for some guides.

Tutorials are something important...
Getting to local resources on a distant location becomes useless without the right admin access and permissions.
And just to clarify, keep in mind that according to the forum guidelines, assisting with bypassing these access controls is not allowed.
