Prior to sharing these queries, I searched for this one. Perhaps I’ll purchase it during my next trip to the US; in Brazil it would be about $520.

It's worth noting that having a 1Gbit switch doesn't guarantee a router will deliver 1Gbit throughput. My Linksys EA6500 only supports around 670Mbit, even though the LAN is set up for 1Gbit. I haven't seen a current model that can't manage 100Mbit speeds.

A friend recently purchased a Linksys EA635, a budget dual-band router suitable for most users unless you have numerous devices. It served as a more affordable alternative to an Asus model that struggled with 802.11N signals even through one wall. You might also consider a wireless repeater for around thirty dollars instead of investing in two routers.
