When I attempt to update my YouTube profile photo, it redirects me to Google Plus instead of showing the default image. The same happens with my YouTube picture not updating either. What could be causing this issue?

how long have you waited? usally takes a couple hours to update

Keep scrolling through Google Plus repeatedly, and it usually refreshes within about an hour.
