To go back to the default interface, you can adjust the settings directly within the tweak tool. Look for an option labeled "Reset" or "Default," which should restore the standard view. No specific feature is required unless it's marked as a toggle.

Consider protecting configuration files or look for a "reset to defaults" feature. The latter is likely available, though backing up the .gnome and .gtk folders in your home directory remains a reliable choice.

The standard GNOME theme is named Adwaita, though Debian and Ubuntu might use different themes. It's a good idea to verify the current theme setting before making changes.

I've switched back to the default theme. Themes are available in a dropdown menu for selection. Let me display my one.

Fedora 25 appears differently based on the Ubuntu defaults. Check your theme settings—like "Vertex-Dark"—to confirm.

The standard design should appear as a choice within the tweaker interface.

No problem. By the way there's a dedicated subforum for linux questions, next time you have this sort of doubt you should post it there. If you are satisfied with an answer you can mark the thread as solved so people won't click on it only to find that it was already answered. Lastly, if you don't quote or mention people they may not see your answer. Best of luck

Next time I'll manage the Linux subforum myself. I can't pick one perfect solution since several options work well here. Appreciate your help!
