Hi. I recently purchased a new laptop. Before, I struggled with the mouse and used Windows. 7. It automatically signed me up for Office 365, but I already have Office Home 2019. How can I cancel this subscription? TIA Desmond. P.S. After downloading Office 2019 (64-bit), opening a Word document still opens Office 365.

this indicates you should cancel it,
https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/cancel-office-365-refund/
you’ll need to uninstall Office 365 to switch to another Word version, I believe.

How to remove software on a Windows 10 laptop.
On Windows 7 I used Control Panel -> Programs and features.
I located the control panel and uninstalled everything related to Office 365. After rebooting, it kept insisting on using Office 365. Should I reinstall it?
If uninstalled, how can it still be active?

It seems Office 365 operates as an online service and isn't installed locally. That means I can't remove it. I have to wait until the subscription ends.
