Is there anyone who knows how to work around a 'fing box' your parents created? It blocks Wi-Fi on all your devices, even though you're using a hard-wired connection. Someone can offer advice on getting past this restriction.

When discussing piracy in general, it's okay to share broad information, but posting or talking about pirated, hacked, or illegally obtained content isn't allowed. This applies to Windows software, games, hackintosh, etc. Also, asking about ways to avoid or block legitimate monitoring software is prohibited. We can't assist with that. The best advice is to talk to your parents or consider finding a job to manage your internet costs yourself.

I reviewed the box he mentioned. It’s built for this specific use. To maintain appropriate boundaries, it’s the modern era of a switch. For those unfamiliar, my father would remove a branch from the tree and use it to discipline me. Understanding that physical punishment is now considered abuse, restricting their internet access seems like the only option.

I recommend using this opportunity to develop new abilities and dive into networking concepts. You might also learn how to ask questions more effectively. Think about understanding how ARP functions and how devices handle that information. This could help you find a simple solution to avoid similar issues. Maybe being more confident in your presence would prevent such situations? As Donut mentioned, having reliable internet is much better than facing unexpected problems!
