Hello
My laptop stopped working and I'm relying on the hard drive from my laptop as an external storage on the computer I'm using now. The external drive contains my bookmarks and passwords in a specific location. (I believe I never logged in while using Google Chrome on my laptop, so it should be in the default folder) These files are encrypted, which prevents me from exporting or importing them normally. I also can't use the laptop to sign in because the GPU is no longer functional.

I attempted to transfer the entire Google folder from this computer to the external drive, but my passwords weren't imported. Chrome reported that some files were corrupted and restored to their original state.

I tried converting the data to a .csv file according to Chrome's instructions, but the file is larger than 150 KB.
As you can guess, I really need help restoring my passwords.

Without the original Chrome version, you can't import the password file. That's why we always back up before anything goes wrong. Just swapping file extensions won't fix it.
