How to adjust the CPU voltage on the MSI 990FXA gaming motherboard
I've attempted all solutions but the choice won't unlock and stays in auto mode; I'm trying to raise the voltage.
When you select the "CPU Voltage" option, you are presented with a selection of voltage values. If this feature is unavailable, certain BIOS systems ask you to input the desired value manually.
When you select the "CPU Voltage" choice, do you see a selection of available voltages? If not, some BIOS systems ask you to enter the number manually. Many settings allow you to adjust other voltage options via a dropdown menu. The CPU voltage and its value are currently hidden, preventing any changes.
I just looked at my MSI board's BIOS (it matches yours, but for an Intel system). To change a setting like core voltage, I need to highlight the item and then press "+", or use "-" to lower it.

Yeah, I can modify most options that way. The only thing that’s grayed out is this one option, and it won’t let me change anything else. It seems like I need to do something different to unlock it.

Yeah I can change most options like that. Just that option is greyed out and it won't let me change at all. As if I need to do something else to unlock it
What processor are you using? New? Used?

Could you clarify if you meant to ask about changing the vcore on another motherboard? I'm here to help with that.
