On my Windows 7 machine I sometimes face issues with BitLocker, causing the drive to become unstable. Luckily I managed to recover most of my data, but it was stressful. For my tablet I opted for a device with an SSD that uses self-encryption, hoping it would be secure by default. I’m considering using BitLocker on the SSD to protect the system, but I’m curious about its reliability on Windows 10. I don’t want any interruptions while traveling and worry BitLocker might compromise my personal information.
