After finishing the game, you can remove it. However, running many large 40 GB games might cause your PC to become slower over time.

I believe I have roughly 30 games installed on my PC at the moment. They're saved there so I can play them whenever I want without having to download again.

I mainly play around 4 to 5 main games plus a few smaller ones. I rarely remove apps because I’m very particular about the titles I enjoy—I usually download something if I really like it.

I installed around 50 to 60 games, mostly smaller titles but a few larger ones as well. Recently, I cleared my Steam collection by removing everything I no longer play or won’t play anytime soon.

You have a GTX 980 Ti and just five major titles?

That’s unrelated to the topic at hand. I’ve got a lot of big games like MKX and GTA V, and with my 100Mbps connection, downloading 20GB files is quick.

When I get a new computer, I become very selective about the games I install. I currently have 20 games and only play 2 of them.

I rarely remove games, typically I upgrade my storage when it fills up—just adding another hard drive or SSD. Right now I’ve got around 15 titles installed, which will get even bigger with the upcoming Steam Winter Sale!

My PC has a bit too much power for its size, yet it was designed to handle everything I need. When I want to play GTA V occasionally, I wish it could be even stronger.

Steam shows 197 entries in your library, but the scanned data suggests a total of about 1.05TB. You might want to remove the ones you don’t use much.
