You're in a specialized corner. Most folks are grabbing off-the-shelf parts that cost way too much before prices jump dramatically. You're joining the community of about 10-20% of builders who actually put together their own PCs.

It's definitely achievable, and much simpler than before. Even outlets like Verge can manage to build a working PC.

OEM setups usually face fewer problems compared to ready-made systems. Only a small percentage—10-20%—of the discussions here are from original equipment manufacturers.

It's unlikely most buyers who purchase OEM PCs will still overclock them. If those systems can handle it, then they probably will.
