Today I put in 11 drives on my rig after I added an M.2 drive. Everything looks good there. Now, I had games from an SSD installed and usually Steam finds them automatically. Oddly enough, it does not find them. The weird part is that I can't choose where to save the downloaded files anymore. Every guide says to go to Settings > Download > "Steam library folder", but instead I see "Download region". Under Settings again, going to Download > Storage only lets me pick a drive letter (like D), but clicking the three dots and choosing "Browse folder" just opens the path on its own without letting me choose where to save. It does say Steam finds games there, but it still can't recognize them properly. Uninstalling the games isn't hard at all, but that strange behavior is really odd. I tried this several times before without any problems, but now with 11 drives installed, Steam's layout looks different. Any idea why this happens?

Most of the instructions are for the old Steam layout. I see the same thing as you do. this might help: https://www.makeuseof.com/steam-not-reco...games-fix/

Thanks man. I'll give it a shot too. Also strange because even when I put the files in the new folder, Steam keeps saying it can't find them.
