Is this about transfering files within a small distance? Is this school work? Kind of files/media? I suggest you bring up a practical example, and being more specific, befause "transfering secret files securely" can be a lot of things. It spans from digging a short cable in the ground to the neighbour, to transfer massive amounts of video materals as evidence in a court case. Getting to know approximately where in that span you are will be helpful and also it may get possible to come up with a potential solution.
