how effective would it be to run SC plus questions?
i was unsure whether to ask about it in hardware or in this topic, but i decided to try.
i intend to build a pc with an RTX 2060 graphics card, a ryanze 5 2600 processor, 32 gig of ram, a 240 gig ssd, and a 1t hdd.
i have some questions about my future setup and performance.
1. which component handles the most processing power?
2. is 32 gig of ram sufficient?
3. what would my approximate fps be?
4. should i opt for a more powerful cpu?
5. is it worthwhile to purchase an rtx 2070?
I have an 1800x and RX Vega 64 setup. My CPU is typically around 30% utilization, while the GPU is near 90%.
After OCS (Object Container Streaming) became functional, I usually use about 5GB of dedicated RAM, with up to 16GB available at maximum.
I estimate my mid-40s to high 50s in terms of performance, based on a resolution of 3440x1440p and ultra settings.
Having more CPU capacity would be preferable if possible.
More GPU power is also beneficial if you can afford it.
Important: Ensure the system runs on an SSD rather than an HDD.
Keep in mind that many performance problems come from the server side right now. No matter your specs, you might reach a limit that isn't under your control if the server you're using is busy. This situation hasn't changed much over time.
