The performance of your setup seems inconsistent, especially with Diablo 3 lag spikes. It’s possible your hardware is nearing its limits or a recent update could be affecting stability. The streaming issues you’re experiencing might stem from network problems rather than just your device. Your concerns about potential throttling or service changes around the contract end are valid—companies sometimes adjust speeds during billing cycles. Consider checking your internet speed and contacting your provider to rule out any service degradation.

Lag refers to delays in data transmission. It can be frame time lag or ping lag. Disable VSync if needed. Some users notice odd behavior on the x64 client, but I haven’t confirmed it myself. No issues have been reported recently.

The system freezes briefly, as if it lost its timing, then slows down and eventually recovers.

It seems odd to say this, but it might be time to refresh the system. The lock-up hints at memory leaks, a problem noted by some D3 players. Would you mind checking your in-game memory usage? It should fill up the RAM, but you shouldn’t see excessive consumption.

I've been focusing on typical consumer habits lately, instead of intense activities. I could check a resource monitor to see the peak usage, but the tricky part is it's occurred a few times during regular non-gaming time. It might be something draining resources, yet I can still manage CPU and GPU without much notice—it's surprising!

These sporadic issues make troubleshooting really tough. The most effective approach seems to be keeping an eye on things regularly and understanding the general condition of the system when problems arise.

Run a full hour of D3 while monitoring system resources to check for leaks. It’s totally normal for the computer to struggle with heavy usage.

This sound option inside the red area triggers frame drops in D3 when it isn’t set to low. I’ll verify it’s configured correctly.
