I recently acquired a 144Hz monitor, and I've noticed that games like Rainbow Six Siege require me to use full-screen mode to achieve the highest refresh rate. I’m wondering how I can determine if my other games automatically run at 144Hz, or whether all of them need to be set to full-screen mode to take advantage of my monitor’s capabilities.

Your monitor’s refresh rate is 144Hz, and this should be configured within your GPU control panel (AMD or Nvidia). This does not guarantee that all games will run at 144 frames per second. You can install MSI Afterburner to enable an on-screen display that shows various parameters, including frame rates.
