I observed a significant drop in frame rate lag in my Fallout 4 after removing several old save files. My game switched from around 300 saves to just 30, resulting in much smoother performance and eliminating those interruptions.

Another issue occurred with Witcher 2 as well; the game frequently crashed, especially when I used a lot of save options.
