I tried some testing in XP after entering my license key. Surprisingly, it worked right away before the trial ended. Internet Explorer functioned well, suggesting the issue might be with the server. I know I can reach out to Microsoft, but I’m not sure if that’s the best option. Also, I was planning to install 98—was it internet-dependent?
