How do I resolve this BSOD issue?
Hello everyone,
I'm just starting to use this website and wanted to ask if anyone could assist me.
Recently I overclocked my RAM and it functioned properly for two days without any problems. However, when I try to start it, it jumps to the Windows logo and then displays blue screens immediately. The error codes I've encountered are "Critical Process Died" and "Page Fault in Non-Paged Area."
I reset the overclock settings back to auto, but that didn't resolve the issue.
I've checked all the RAM modules and slots individually, and everything seems to be working correctly.
Additionally, I updated the BIOS on the motherboard, yet the problem persists.
I can still reach the BIOS interface, but that's all I can do.
My PC specifications are:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B450F Gaming
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: 3070 Founders Edition
DDR4: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 4x16GB
PSU: Corsair Rm850x
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-15
Did you attempt to reset the CMOS following the initial BSOD?
Have you checked if you can access the BIOS and adjust your RAM speed to 2666 MHz manually?
Was it possible to start the system using just one DIMM_A2 slot?
What BIOS version is currently installed on your motherboard?
I reset the CMOS but didn't fix the problem.
I adjusted the RAM speed manually at various frequencies (2133, 2666, 3000, 3200) and used a single stick of RAM.
BIOS version 5102 was applied.
I performed a health scan repair on all the drives and found nothing. I also have an A which is brand new M.2, a Samsung EVO SAD, plus two HDDs—one Western Digital I don’t remember the other. The C drive has been there for over four years, as has the Western Digital one.
I would turn off the HDDs temporarily, until the system functions correctly.
I attempted both options, first using the jumler but it didn't resolve the problem, then I tried the battery. Both actions involved switching the PC off and unplugging from the wall.
