How do I overclock my Core 2 Duo?

I recently upgraded my old computer, which includes:
XFX 750i motherboard
4GB OCz gold ram
Core2 Duo (will share the exact model later)
EVGA 1gb gts 250
How can I overclock the CPU?

There are two methods. Either change the multiplier if it's an unlocked CPU or adjust the FSB using the BIOS. Just be careful and keep an eye on your temperatures. It's simple to damage a C2D.
