Hey guys! I'm fresh on this forum and I need some help. I want to upgrade my BIOS to UEFI. My board is a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3. I tried Q-Flash, it didn't work, then I made a bootable USB and tried again, nothing happened. Can anyone tell me how to update the BIOS? My CPU is an Intel i5-3570K, but in the BIOS I can't raise the multiplier past 38 (38,100 = 3.8GHz). I don't know why... Can someone please help me out here?

Hello User. Hi, when updating your BIOS on UEFI, please make sure you picked the right maker and the latest version. It has to fit your computer perfectly. Don't skip steps because if you do, it could brick your PC! This means you lose the chance to fix it at all time. You'll need a brand new one anyway. The reason you can't change the multiplier by 38 is that the maker won't let you hurt your machine. Be very careful when doing this! Thanks, and I hope that helps you now.

They need an update for the UEFI BIOS because the old system called Legacy is blocking changes to the CPU's multipliers on Ivy Bridge chips.
