I transferred some data from Windows 7 to my SSD after installing Windows 8.1. The files from Windows 7 remain there. To delete them, you’ll need to back them up first and then use the built-in tools or third-party software to remove them.

Start the system in safe mode. Hidden admin credentials might be required to remove it.
