Right now I’m using an MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC. My main reasons for choosing it were the socket type that supports i9 9900K with sound and network features. I’m not sure if it’s the optimal choice technically. What factors should be taken into account when making a decision?

Choose what suits your requirements and budget. What precisely are you aiming to accomplish?

Top results (no gaming), mostly rely on Blender. Possibly consider boosting the RAM speed from Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200. Uncertain if GPU choice affects performance, with RTX 2070s and plans for a 2080 Ti.

I checked Corsair's Vengeance LPX 3200 and noticed it might handle Quad Channel, but the Gaming Edge AC MB seems limited to Dual. These are minor details I'm not sure about.

Only Z390 boards allow quad channel memory support.
