How can I stop my app from taking over the whole screen?
I am running an automation script on my PC right now. This tool opens more than ten windows of that specific app at once. Every time my script shuts down and starts up a new window for another program, the new windows show up full screen immediately. So here is what I want to fix: • The app doesn't let me change the size by itself; I have to use general Windows resizing options instead. • I'm using two monitors, and I really need this program to open on my second monitor. But whenever it restarts a window, it always goes back to the first screen, no matter what settings I try. • I have two separate desktops (using the Win+Tab button or multiple desktop feature). I would much prefer if I could force this app to launch on the secondary desktop. However, as soon as I switch back to the main desktop, those new windows will come up full screen again on the primary one. Is there a way to keep these apps running on my second monitor so they stay hidden or invisible? That way, I won't see them popping up anymore? Thanks!
When you start an app, the window should remember where you left off and how big it was before. I just did this with my Outlook app by moving it to a second screen, changing its size, then closing it. When I opened it back up, it came out in the exact same spot. If your program doesn't do that on its own, there is code inside that makes it work like you need it to and you should talk to support about fixing it for free.
