Simply and clearly, how to overclock your CPU without a watercooling setup. Is it worth trying?

Most people believe it's not worth it for any real reason. Especially when it comes to saying "not using watercooling." Although I'm uncertain if a cooler is an air cooler. The idea of being "worth it" really depends on the individual.

By worth it I mean overall, not from a personal point of view.
My cooler is an air cooler, yes.
That's my only maybe for now; more possibilities will definitely come up, but that's what worries me the most right now.
I mean, squeezing around 10 fps more in games wouldn't be such a big deal, not sure what kind of improvement it would actually bring.
