I was originally installed on my Windows 11 Pro machine from Dell. The standard uninstall options aren't functioning. Instead, I keep seeing the choice to purchase and set it up. When I navigate to apps and features, the deletion option doesn't work either.

McAfee offers a Consumer Product Removal Tool (MCPR) utility. It does not eliminate McAfee PC Optimizer.

In other words, it can't be removed? Someone has to keep asking every day when the system starts, demanding it be purchased.

Usually, for any ready-made setup that comes with it, I perform a complete reset and install a fresh, unmodified operating system. Right from the beginning.

There is always the chance to start in safe mode and remove its installation directory.
