I don't understand how to link the SATA power port of your Deepcool SC790 PWM fan hub to the 6-pin SATA port on your PSU. Usually, one of the ends has gold pins for the connection, but with both devices having holes, it's unclear how to make the link. The fans on your hub aren't spinning because of this problem. Do you need an adapter to add the gold pins and enable proper connection? I'd like my case fans to actually start working.

No one wants to be the reason something goes wrong, which is likely why no one mentions it. Pins sticking out are considered "male" holes, while "female" ones are "female," and this applies to every type of plug in any situation. I think deepcool probably installed a female plug on the hub to stop people from using a regular SATA cable, especially if they use a different pin configuration. I’d check the manual to see if they mention this, because there might have been a cable in the package that you thought was normal but is actually needed for this setup.
