I'm not qualified for this, but it would be easier for others to help if you stated what your current settings are, what your current average FPS is, and what hardware you use.

These are the optimal configurations for achieving high FPS while maintaining near-perfect visual quality. I keep these images ready to share whenever I can. The numbers come from various guides, videos, and tests on my PC over nearly three years. Distance Scaling appears to be around 50%, but it's actually closer to 60%. I've discovered that a range of 40-60% works best, offering only a 1-2 FPS improvement by setting it to 40%, which is why I stick with 60%.
