Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
We're going to need more info. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Can you elaborate on why you need to upgrade your graphics card? What are you intending to tax your graphics card with? Including a budget for your graphics card upgrade would help us two fold as well as your location and your preferred site for purchase.
If you're asking how to remove or introduce a graphics card into your system, you can look through this;

When it comes to laptops, you won't be upgrading the graphics card. If you're purchasing a new laptop, is your device a laptop?

Many factors depend on your configuration. So for example, Lutfij suggested we'd be more capable of assisting if you shared details about your hardware. In any case, if it's a desktop or SFF model, you should use DDU to eliminate the previous GPU driver before removing the old one. However, there was a dilemma in the advice—whether to treat it as a small forum computer or a full-size desktop. The same steps apply, but you must adjust certain limitations for an SSF setup.
