Hey everyone,
I'm planning to assemble a PC for the upcoming BF6 and plan to use it for more than just console gaming. I'm based in Australia and want a system that can handle high settings at 60 FPS or better.

I need some advice: where would be the best place to order all the necessary components so they arrive quickly? Based on the specs, I'm looking for an RX 6700 XT or RTX 3060 Ti or higher, an i7-10700 or Ryzen 3700K, and 16GB of dual-channel RAM at 3200MHz.

It's been a while since I built a PC (since 2011 for BF3, haha), so I'm not familiar with the latest tech. I'm hoping someone can help me find the most affordable options that meet these requirements.

I'm also unsure about the power supply wattage and how important the motherboard is, but I'd appreciate some recommendations.

Case choice is a personal preference too.

Lastly, can I get this build under $1000 AUD? If not, what are the expected costs?

Also, with these specs, how long do you think I can expect to play before needing an upgrade for the GPU or CPU?

Thanks!

An i7 processor will provide higher FPS, but you'll need an aftermarket CPU cooler and a motherboard with improved VRM.

Sure, if the i5 meets your needs, I'll choose that. Also, the i7 isn't within budget, so I don't have a specific cooler recommendation. Just let me know if any model works for you. Thanks for the info—I didn't realize PC Part Picker exists. The VRMs are fine, and I'm assuming the board has solid components.

You'll have to allocate additional funds to satisfy the demand for RX 6700 XT/RTX 3060ti or higher.

Yeah, I saw it and they're increasing the budget a little. But if I can run 1080p with the 6600, I'm all set.
