I ran a malwarebytes scan on your mom's laptop and detected multiple infections. Could you share the scan log with us? It would help determine if quarantining and removing the files is safe. Thank you for your cooperation!

It located the items, so quarantined them and removed the unwanted files.

I'm unsure since some infections could be registry entries and possibly system files. I understand that handling any of these improperly can cause serious issues, like a Windows PC not working. Would it be safe to isolate and delete them?
