Your motherboard may include built-in temperature sensors. You can check details using HWInfo 64 or similar tools. Generally, with proper airflow and reasonable voltages, most standard boards work fine. Which model are you using?

You don’t seem to own a 790i, do you? I own a 680i, 780i, and a 790i, but the 790i isn’t showing up. I’ve tried different CPU and RAM setups, reset the BIOS. Just want to enjoy the top performance of a 775.

Six-eight core CPUs are manageable, though not the top choice. They work for most setups. I’d still look at MSI B450 A-Pro MAX and Gaming Plus MAX for better options.

I might, just to verify—sorry, I don’t have one. I own a 780 and a 750, but the 780 is still operational.

Your R5 2600 should work fine. Newegg hasn't reported any issues, aside from a few problems with the Polycrom Sync module.

Certainly it will work. The system supports six cores and will handle everything smoothly. Check out the table for clarity: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...=611478281 and https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...=229691480
