It's typical for the game to consume around 10.5GB of VRAM at 4K resolution with medium settings. I've used 11GB of VRAM before and it still worked fine.

Are you using Afterburner with the per-process VRAM display enabled, or is it set to show the overall VRAM allocation?

Many software tools seem to display incorrect VRAM numbers. Using GPU Tweak, it kept showing my RAM at 95% or higher while playing HZD. Luckily, I completed the game last week as part of my backlog, which was perfect timing! There were no problems keeping up with 90 FPS on high settings (plus I adjusted a few options).

It's expected that 2080 Ti reaches around 2ghz, especially with a GTX 900 that's been overclocked... That seems quite unusual.

my setup uses this card model. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/ms...trio.b6235 I run it on an MSI AFTERBURNer with a 200 MHz core clock and -500 MHz memory settings. If I leave the default mode, the card auto-boosts to 1920 MHz core clock and 7000 MHz memory. I’m worried because 1920 MHz is far from the 1350 MHz base clock, which makes the auto-boost seem odd. The card gets extremely hot and stays around 80°C during gaming. When I change the core to 1665 MHz and memory to 6500 MHz, it stays at 70-73°C, which is within a safe range. The default alarm zone in MSI Afterburner is set to 84 degrees, but that’s still manageable.

Check the default setting—this card shows a 90-degree hotspot in the game. Is that normal? Also, the thermal paste here seems different from Arctic MX-4; why does it feel so hot?

This change was probably made by someone adjusting the thermal paste. Do you have the full system specifications?

The actual issue lies with the faulty GPU. Someone is trying to conceal the truth and provide a simple, incorrect response once more.

Did this GPU come from a previous purchase or is it brand new? What’s the most recent time you maintained it? Do you have an image of the GPU installed?

The system's memory capacity is now a total of 12GB, which is considered mid-high range. For more demanding games, 16GB or greater is recommended.
