Homeworld hype
I've rarely played games legally before because many weren't accessible and we lacked funds. During my youth, I bought older titles from GOG, mostly remakes. Finding newer versions was tough due to graphics and design differences. I mainly stuck with games I'd played back then. Homeworld is one I haven't tried yet, but the remake looks promising—I'm considering it. Right now, I'm focused on Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and have just started Frozen Cortex, planning to play it later.
i know he also has a live stream where he get noob stomped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqCP0-Uygbc me 2, i do believe they lost the source code of cataclysm .
Sadly, the cataclysm source code is missing. I hope it finds a good buyer and they consider releasing a proper Homeworld 3. At around 34.99 for two to four games, the remaster seems like a solid value. I was also considering purchasing the collectors edition from Amazon UK, though they only accept cards and I don’t have any.
A few original developers from Homeworld are working on a fresh RTS project. When Gearbox acquired the Homwrold IP, they reached out to the creators and negotiated a licensing agreement for Homeworld assets. However, there hasn't been any recent updates on the matter.
Thanks for the update, I wouldn't have known about shipbreakers or the beta otherwise.
