I’m not familiar with networking details or Wi-Fi AP setup. Could you share what you think would work best for your home router? You’re looking for strong coverage and enough bandwidth for many devices—HD cameras, printers, phones, etc. I’ve tried DD WRT before, so experimenting with flashing it to a new router sounds interesting. Thanks in advance!

consider getting a model that supports Wi-Fi 6 for improved performance. it may cost a bit more initially, but the future benefits are significant. if budget is a concern, opt for Asus routers since they offer solid stock solutions. for those seeking DD-WRT support, Linksys provides good options with reliable configurations.

Usually I prioritize quality, but honestly I’m unsure what the ideal budget looks like. How much do top-tier routers cost compared to others in that range? What makes a good balance and why? Thanks!
