Holes for attaching E-ATX motherboards
Holes for attaching E-ATX motherboards
Hello, I'm preparing to purchase an X570 board and need some guidance. My case from CaseLabs seems suitable for an E-ATX, but I'm unsure about the exact hole positions on E-ATX boards. Should I go with the MSI specifications for the X570 ACE or the PRESTIGE X570 Creation? Please let me know if anyone can clarify. Thank you.
Focus solely on the "overhang" on the right side. It's typically around 2cm. The conversation about those boards not being "proper" E-ATX is just another topic for later.
They share the same screw pattern. The confusion comes from two versions: one measuring 10.4 to 10.7 inches with standard ATX connectors (no extra screws needed), and another measuring 13 inches with additional screw holes. Your case probably fits the larger boards, though such large sizes are uncommon today except for the Asus Dominus.
Thank you both for your response. The case I’m using is no longer applicable since I initially ordered it without the e-atx tray. I’m proceeding with the same case as before, which you can view in the link provided.
