My device is brand new with the CPU running consistently at stock speeds. I only realized this issue after downloading CPU Z. Now it's damaged because I can only sustain 3.9GHz at 1.25V, while stable performance would allow 4.1 or 4.2GHz at 1.4V. Can I get a replacement for this reason?

It appears there are no signs of damage. You might still attempt running it at versions 4.1 or 4.2. What's holding you back?

The CPU consistently ran at 1.45V with low load even at regular speeds. Changing to 4GHz caused instability, crashing after just 10 to 30 minutes.

Was das mein Problem? Ich habe nur gehört, dass es nur auf 1,4 bis 1,5 V ging, aber ich dachte, es könnte bis 1,45 V gehen. Außerdem gab es manchmal Unterlasten.

Prior to installing Ryzen Master, the voltage stayed around 1.2–1.25V; once the software was applied, it consistently reached 1.4V or higher during idle and light load.

It appears the system was configured with the Ryzen Balanced Windows power plan, which doesn't require the CPU to operate below 50% utilization. This setting isn't ideal for Ryzen 2000 processors. The recommended configuration supports Ryzen 1000 and 3000 chips, though AMD continues to push this option. If you're using the default settings, verify that your Windows power plan has Minimum Processor State enabled at a lower percentage for better performance and efficiency.

It seems like your hardware isn't performing well under stress, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's permanently damaged. Check for other signs and consider testing in different conditions.
